Platform Disclosure Hub

This document serves as the official regulatory disclosure for DAVIDSOLOMON (Pty) Ltd 2025/868984/07 trading as CargoXchangeSA. We operate as an independent technology hub in the South African logistics value chain, strictly adhering to the standards set by SARS, the Financial Intelligence Centre, and the POPIA Information Regulator.

1. Mandatory Vetting & KYC Protocol

Universal Requirement

The integrity of the CargoXchangeSA ecosystem depends on the verified status of its participants. To maintain the security of the SADC logistics network, all users—including Shippers, Brokers, and Carriers—are required to complete a strict Know Your Customer (KYC) vetting process.

This involves the submission of corporate registration documents, identity artifacts, and financial certificates to verify the legitimacy of each juristic or natural entity node in the network. Access to market features and the ZAR Escrow gateway is contingent upon successful verification by our Compliance Hub.

2. Discretionary Hub Approval

"CargoXchangeSA reserves the right to accept or reject any user account at its sole and absolute discretion."

Our network integrity depends on the quality of its participants. We are not a public utility; we are a private ecosystem. DAVIDSOLOMON (Pty) Ltd reserves the absolute right to deny access to any Shipper or Carrier who does not meet our internal performance, risk, or ethical standards.

Stakeholder Immunity & Third-Party Disclosure

While we strive for operational excellence, the directors, shareholders, and employees of DAVIDSOLOMON (Pty) Ltd are explicitly indemnified and held harmless against all claims arising from user-to-user interactions. This includes, but is not limited to, the physical actions, negligence, or operational failures of any 3rd party Carrier, Shipper, or Broker on the platform.

In terms of Section 55 of POPIA, DAVIDSOLOMON (Pty) Ltd has appointed an Information Officer to oversee the processing of personal data across the Hub.
